Children’s Ministry

Nursery through 5th Grade available at all Weekend Services

The mission of the Children’s Ministry team at Calvary Castle Rock is to partner with parents to guide all children in our ministry to build solid foundations on God’s truth. We believe that each child is a unique creation of God and is able to comprehend the Gospel from a young age.

The Children’s Ministry is designed so that kids can learn at their own level and pace from birth to 5th grade through a Bible-based curriculum, teaching the kids the Gospel message of Jesus alone as Savior throughout our time together. Depending on the age of your child, classes will involve prayer, singing, games, crafts, scripture memorization, interactive Bible teaching, and other hands-on activities to help your child learn about God. Adhering to God’s Word and building loving and trusting relationships are of upmost importance in all of our Children’s Ministry classrooms, from nursery through 5th grade.

Jesus Christ paid the same price for us to be able to receive eternal life (John 3:16). The Children’s Ministry at CCR believes that kids of all needs and abilities have a place in our classrooms. For children with special needs, we provide a one-to-one Buddy Program. Children with special needs are paired with a trained Buddy, to provide an opportunity for children to learn about God’s love in a way that is accessible to them. If you would like more information about our Buddy Program, please email Jamie below.

Calvary Kids aims to strengthen children in the knowledge of the Lord. All teachers and volunteers are background checked, trained and evaluated in order to foster a safe and enjoyable environment where parents know that their children are secure while growing in the Lord.
